Carolling Mice And A Holly Wreath

 Hi,0

Firstly I hope you are all ok ? A lot has happened since I lasted posted - firstly I kept it very quiet but Alan's Dad was in hospital at the time of the last Challenge and sadly he lost his fight on 9th May, he didn't want a funeral and because Alan was really drained and emotional from the last 6 weeks of going up and down to Yorkshire from Cornwall, I decided he needed a break, so we went to Vienna for 3 days and WOW what a city, we had the most amazing time.

Today is the start of Maureen's fabby Rudolph Days Challenge and it lasts until 30th June, remember to leave a comment for a chance to win a great prize and as we are half way through the year it gives you a chance to start on your Christmas cards.

The Mouse Image is : Penny Black - 'Holly Day Critters 30-017'
The Holly Wreath and Sentiment is : Penny Black - 'Christmas Treasures 30-019'
The Door is a die (that I have never used before): Lawn Fawn - 'Shut The Front Door LF1495'
Brick embossing : Marianne Design - 'DF3403'

Thanks for looking and for any comments you would like to leave, would be mostly appreciated, Luv Sam x

So sorry for your sad loss. I do know what you mean about being burnt out after traveling so far to visit with poorly relatives. But, I am sure Alan treasures that time he had with his Dad.
Your idea to get away was a good one, as it gave you all a much-needed break after the stress of all you have been through.

Your card is beautiful. I love the sweet scene you created, and the handcut critters are so adorable! Thanks so much for all you do, Sam.
Hugs
Maureen

Oh Sam that is sad news about Alan's Dad. I'm so glad you were able to go away together to recharge the batteries and that you had a wonderful break.

Your card is fabulous. I love all the texture and those little critters outside the door are adorable! Vicky x

PS Just a heads up, the link to your blog isn't working from Maureen's blog. Can you fix it? There will be a lot of people wanting to come and see this beauty for sure!
