I hope you are all ok ?, after the madness of 6 weeks summer holidays, life during the day has calmed down, as Harrison has started Secondary school and leaves home at 8am and doesn't return till 4pm or 5pm - depending on if he does an after school club or not, anyway before Harrison started last week, he wanted me to make some 'Good Luck' cards for his friends, so here are 3 of them (made 5 in all !!),

The image used for them all was : Mo Manning - 'Oxford'
and the papers were : DCWV - 'The Grade School'

This is the one I made for Harrison :

Sentiment : Woodware - 'JWS004 Good Luck'
Banner : Memory Box - 'Simple Banner'

Die to cut shape : Die-Namics - 'Stitched Medium Rectangle Stax'
Sentiment - Lili Of the Valley - 'Tags'

Shaped Edge : Die-Namics - 'Stitched Scallop Basic Edges'
Sentiment : John Next Door - 'Everyday Sentiments'

Sleeping Fox And Dogs In The Snow

I hope you are all keeping well and to be honest I'm so glad the weather has gone down a few degrees, especially as we spent last week in Cornwall - where Harrison went surfing for the first time and even managed to stand up 5 times, he was well chuffed, looks like we may have to go back next year ;-), as he now seems to have the surfing bug !!

I have 2 cards this month for the Rudolph Days Challenge, which starts today and ends 31st August, as Christmas is starting to slowly creep up on us, it gives you a good excuse to start, if you haven't already :

The image was originally sold as a free gift with the magazine Cardmaking and Papercraft, back in 2016, it was designed by Jennifer Ellory - I went to a 2nd hand sale and fell in love with it, along with the robin stamp it came with, so bought it for £1
Papers : Crate Paper - 'Snow Day Collection'
Sentiment : Penny Black - 'Christmas Treasures / 30-019 / 2008'
Corner : Die-versions - 'Pine Corner Concepts'
Pine Cones : Britannia Dies - 'Small Pine Cone'

My second card was made, when Alan and I had a cheeky weekend away crafting with Kay, Kelly and Sandra, whilst Harrison was at Scout Camp
All the product were care of Kay, the secret window die, is 'Lawn Fawn', but can't remember the sets I used for the dogs or secret messages

Thanks for looking and for any comments you would like to leave,  I would be most grateful, Luv Sam x

That's Genius

Harrison left Primary School on Friday, the end of an era with mixed emotions, although he can't wait to go to Secondary School in September.

Anyway there is one teacher Harrison had in Year 2, that he still talks about her now, so we felt she deserved a very special card and this is it (the teacher has a black dog, hence the image) :

Image : 'That's Genius' - Clearly Besotted
Sentiment - 'Thank You Teacher' - Simon Says Stamp !
Paper : 'The Grade School Stack' - DCWV
