Merriest Wishes

 Hi,

I hope you are keeping well, it's been very busy in this house - we have sold our house (subject to contract) and are moving to Cornwall (son is already at school there), so we are frantically house hunting!!

It's that time again, when today is the start of a new Christmas Challenge Rudolph Days Christmas Challenge and you have from today till 31st October to add your card and given we only have a 2 months left till the big day, it gives you a good excuse to make a card, to put away.

This months cards are using a Die and Stamp set I bought on a 2nd Craft Facebook site, which is a bit different for me to use, as I normally like to stamp and colour

Not sure if photo shows but in real life, it's very sparkly, as I have used pearlescent papers on the embossing bit and the baubles
Die and Stamp set : 'Merriest Wishes' - Stampin' Up
Embossing : 'Baubles' -Sizzix
Ribbon and Pearlescent papers from my stash

Die set : 'Merriest Wishes' - Stampin' Up
Glitttery Designer Card : 'The Christmas Glitter Mat Stack' - DCWV
The Plain Glittery Card : 'Glitzy' - DCWV
Christmas Tree Border Die : 'Christmas Tree Ribbon' - Joanna Sheen
Gold Pearlescent paper and ribbon from stash

Thanks for looking and for any comments you would like to leave, would be most appreciated, Luv Sam x

Well Sam, in the midst of selling your house and getting Harrison settled at school, you have amazingly found time to make these gorgeous cards!

I love both of them. The lavender is so pretty but the green and gold are I think my faves as I love that gold border strip you used with them.

So good to have you on my design team. Your ladies are all a blessing to me.

You are definitely putting the glitz into Christmas this year Sam! Both designs are beautiful and I am very impressed that you've been able to produce them in the midst of all that's going on in your house! Vicky x

Oh what beautiful Christmas cards with those sparkly baubles! Loving the colors and background embossing. The golden tree medallions look so pretty hanging from the ribbons on that great dsp for the 2nd set! Beautifully created! Best wishes moving - I don't envy you having to do that!

I love your fantastic cards Sam and the papers you've used with the dies. Don't envy you having to pack all of your craft stuff ready to move. Hope you get sorted with a new house soon.

I am loving the bauble theme here Sam, super designs and colourways. Hope you find a new home soon so that you can be nearer to Harrison. I can't think of a nicer county (other than Dorset of course!!) to live. Keep us posted!! xx

What a great idea to match the die cut ornaments with the embossed ornaments in the background! You had the perfect paper to put with the Christmas tree ornaments! Very festive and three more for the stash!
