Snowmen and Penguins

Hi,

I hope you are all ok ?, since Harrison started at Secondary school life has been a little trying for us all, so as this week is half term (holidays) in the UK we have decided to go on holiday to Iceland, therefore I have scheduled this, as we fly back today.

I have 2 cards for this month's Rudolph Day's Challenge, please join in, as we don't have much time left now until the 'Big Day' !

My first card is using :
Stamp : Penny Black - 'Snowman Border / 1251J / 1998'
Papers : LOTV - 'Woodland Wishes'
Die : Memory Box - 'Snowflake Corner'
Pearls coloured with Copics to match the paper
Sentiments : Penny Black - 'Festive Snippets / 30-387 / 2016'

My second card was made at my lovely friend Kay's house, whilst on a visit and these are her dies and stamps, thanks hun

Card was made using : Lawn Fawn - 'Shadow Box Die'
Images : Lawn Fawn - 'Here We Go A-Waddling'
Snow effect was made using : Stampendous - 'Chunky White Embossing Enamel'
Sentiment Die : Penny Black - 'Snow Wishes / 51-082 / 2014' - a wonderful gift from the lovely Maureen, thank you so much hun x

Thanks for looking and for any comments you would like to leave, would be most appreciated, Luv Sam x

The penguins box card is amaizing, cute images and a great design.

Mt eldest Grandson is in his 3rd year at senior school and he broke up for half term yesterday (Wednesday) my youngest Grandson is still at J&I and he doesn't break up till Friday (he was not happy) but the funny thing is they are going to Iceland too on Sunday.

Fantastic cards, Sam. Sorry I am late getting round to visit...we have had a touch of the flue through our family. Started with the kids so I was on sick days duty and then of course I managed to catch it too.

Your first card is so adorably sweet. What a cute snowman family!

The second card is so fabulous. I want to rush to my scrapbook room and give this a try too! I love the way you took the photoof the inside so we could see just how to make one...plus remember that the inside will look best if covered too!

Thanks for all your hard work for Rudolph Days Challenge in 2018 and hopefully beyond that too!

Hugs
Maureen

All those snowmen lined up in a row is incredibly cute and I like the decorative corner as well. The depth of your creativity really shows in the 2nd card! Beautiful job on both!

Brilliant makes Sam - and I so love how you used the LOTV paper with the snow family - perfect colour matching. I adore that paper pad but the colours often beat me!
