and the papers were : DCWV - 'The Grade School'

Sleeping Fox And Dogs In The Snow

Hi,

I hope you are all keeping well and to be honest I'm so glad the weather has gone down a few degrees, especially as we spent last week in Cornwall - where Harrison went surfing for the first time and even managed to stand up 5 times, he was well chuffed, looks like we may have to go back next year ;-), as he now seems to have the surfing bug !!

I have 2 cards this month for the Rudolph Days Challenge, which starts today and ends 31st August, as Christmas is starting to slowly creep up on us, it gives you a good excuse to start, if you haven't already :

The image was originally sold as a free gift with the magazine Cardmaking and Papercraft, back in 2016, it was designed by Jennifer Ellory - I went to a 2nd hand sale and fell in love with it, along with the robin stamp it came with, so bought it for £1
Papers : Crate Paper - 'Snow Day Collection'
Sentiment : Penny Black - 'Christmas Treasures / 30-019 / 2008'
Corner : Die-versions - 'Pine Corner Concepts'
Pine Cones : Britannia Dies - 'Small Pine Cone'

My second card was made, when Alan and I had a cheeky weekend away crafting with Kay, Kelly and Sandra, whilst Harrison was at Scout Camp
All the product were care of Kay, the secret window die, is 'Lawn Fawn', but can't remember the sets I used for the dogs or secret messages

Thanks for looking and for any comments you would like to leave,  I would be most grateful, Luv Sam x

That's Genius

Hi,

Harrison left Primary School on Friday, the end of an era with mixed emotions, although he can't wait to go to Secondary School in September.

Anyway there is one teacher Harrison had in Year 2, that he still talks about her now, so we felt she deserved a very special card and this is it (the teacher has a black dog, hence the image) :

Image : 'That's Genius' - Clearly Besotted
Sentiment - 'Thank You Teacher' - Simon Says Stamp !
Paper : 'The Grade School Stack' - DCWV

Hi,

Gee what a scorcher of a weekend, I hope you all enjoyed it - Alan and I had an amazing time on Saturday night, when we went to see Kerry Ellis, who is simply an amazing singer and the added bonus was that Brian May of Queen was in the audience and joined Kerry for the final song, which for a small town where I live was simply WOW.

I made today's card for the receptionist at Harrison's school, who is leaving later on this month and she has been really helpful and understanding, with us living 30 mins away from the school.

We are now nearly through the first week of H's Easter holidays - he did a Lego fun afternoon, Wednesday, yesterday was a Peter Rabbit trail and today he has gone on an adventure day with his bike and it's my birthday today also, so it will be lovely to just chill out with my dog Clio.

I made today's card for my other half Alan, whose Birthday was on Tuesday.
