On Saturday the boys took me to a Forest School day, where we planted trees and toasted marshmalllows over a fire - it was great fun, but cold, especially when the sun wasn't out. I hope all of you that are Mum's had a lovely day - i spent the day making this card, as Alan and Harrison were at a rugby festival and Harrison's team got second.
Today's image is an old one : Penny Black - 'Beehive Bear / 1071E / 1998', the base shape is : Go Kreate - 'Frilly Frames #10', the papers are : My Mind's Eye - 'Fine And Dandy True Blue' - i only normally use these papers, when i'm making a boy's card, but i loved the hexagon look, as it reminded me of honeycomb, the hexagon middle is : Die-namics - 'Hexagon', the sentiment is : Penny Black - 'Tiny Wishes / Transparent Set', the ribbon is 'The Ribbon Girls', the bee is : Cheery Lynn - 'Tiny Things With Wings', the flowers are from my stash and the leaves are : Cheery Lynn - 'Fanciful Flourish'.
