Hi,

 Well here in the UK it's a Bank Holiday Weekend, so i'm sure the weather won't be good !!, yesterday H went to try out Canoeing, Kayaking (both things he has never done before) and Raft Building with the Cubs. Today is a rest day and tomorrow we are going to the Weald and Downland Museum for a Food Festival.

Christmas Ornaments

Hi,

We had a delightful day on Saturday, with lots of sunshine,  walking round the woods that were covered in Bluebells and White Wood Anemones and afterwards we went to the cafe (that is run by a different charity every 2 days), where they even had a dairy free cake, yipee.
We were all glued to 'Britain's Got Talent' on Saturday, as one of the mums from Harrison's school was in - 'Lisa Sampson' the hula hoop lady, for all my overseas visitors here's the link :

Another photo, to try and show the stencil and embossing sparkle

First i stamped on my brown heat proof sheet : Tim Holtz - 'Milled Lavendar, Dusty Concord, Chipped Sapphire and Stormy Sky', spritzed it and then got my 2 pieces of card and rubbed it into the ink - once dried i used stencil : Imagination Crafts - 'Snowflake Frenzy' with : Sparkle Medium - 'Diamond', with the other piece of card i stamped : A free clear stamp set from Simply Cards And Papercraft that goes with : Spellbinders - 'Heirloom Ornament', i stamped it then embossed with : WOW embossing powder - 'Metallic Silver' and cut it, and added Bakers Twine - which has a silver thread (i also have the gold thread one too) running through it - i got it from Ebay a company called 'Paper And Lace'.

Bashful Badger

Thanks for all your lovely comments about my migraines and i'm glad to report, i have not had one since last Thursday - yipee, but i still don't know where the week has gone, i think the Spring air has got to me as i have been cleaning !! Today we are off to Arlington Bluebell Walk And Farm Trail, as it's so pretty there and when you have finished doing the walk charities do the teas and cake in the cafe.

I don't know about you, but i so love Badgers, but unfortunately for me Penny Black only did Badgers in the beginning (1997), so it has taken me a while to purchase this sweetie - 'Bashful Badger - 712J', i was looking for some papers that would compliment the image and i remembered these delightful ones : Bo Bunny - 'Isabella', the flower is : Tim Holtz - 'Tattered Florals', the lace is : The Ribbon Girls and the pearls are from my stash.

Hi,

Gee H's Easter hols have flown by, probably because we were in Yorkshire for 6 days, where i met up with my lovely crafting buddy Susan and her adorable dog Toby (who licked me loads) - Grandma had H for 2 nights, while Alan and I stayed in a fabby dog friendly B+B and went to Whitby for the day.  I was supposed to go to Ally Pally on Saturday, but unfortunately i woke up with a migraine and was unable to go - i was so gutted as i was hoping to meet up with Marianne and Lynsey.

Firstly i would just like to wish all of a very Happy Easter and as you know i'm in Yorkshire, so hopefully Mr Blogger won't play up, as i've had to schedule this as Alan's mum has had Harrison(for the first time in 4 years !!) for 2 nights, so we (including Whisper) have been staying in a B+B, as Friday was Alan's Birthday and mine is tomorrow.
