What A Spring !

Hi,

Well we had - or should i say Alan had an eventful Friday - he spent 5 hours in A&E with Harrison (i don't do hospitals - they totally freak me out and Alan is more calming in stressful situations) - Harrison had a suspected 'Appendicitis', but after loads of tests he was sent home and in the end they think it could have been a grumbling Appendix or because he had an infection 2 weeks ago, the gunk could have ended up there - he is absolutely fine now.

This card is for Alan's mum, as she is looking after H for a couple of days over Easter, the image is : Penny Black - 'What A Spring ! / 2557K / 2003', the papers are : Doodlebug - 'Easter Argyll and Easter Doodles', the sentiment is : 'Inkadinkadoo - 'Happy Everything', the die is : Memory Box - 'Spring Border'. I really must treat myself to a Centre Step Card, as it took me 3 attempts to make the base card - it's where i have to cut the sections, i don't seem to have enough strength in my wrist to do it once.

Hi,

On Saturday the boys took me to a Forest School day, where we planted trees and toasted marshmalllows over a fire - it was great fun, but cold, especially when the sun wasn't out.  I hope all of you that are Mum's had a lovely day - i spent the day making this card, as Alan and Harrison were at a rugby festival and Harrison's team got second.

Peek - A - Bunny

Hi,

Firstly i would just like to start by wishing my lovely blogging friend Janice Hugs and Wishes for your special Birthday.

Oooo this weekend is full of gorgeous men ....... firstly on Friday it's Mr Drop Dead Gorgeous Jackman in 'Chappie' and then on Saturday it's The Officer in a white suit (who can forget that outfit -  when i was visiting the US i wanted to go to the Naval Base in Baltimore, so i could see the officers in their white outfits and my boyfriend at the time, who was a US lawyer with no sense of humour, got the hump and wouldn't take me !! ;-)) in 'The Second Marigold Hotel'.

Today's image is a sweetie and so perfect for a friend of mine, who is rabbit mad : Penny Black - 'Peek - A - Bunny / 4066K / 2010', the papers and twine are : Dovecraft - 'Curiosity Corner', the sentiment is : Woodware - 'Tiny Phrases' and mounted on : Cheery Lynn - 'Horizon Fishtail Banners', the rabbit charm is from stash.

Hi,

Today is St David's Day in the UK and he is patron saint of Wales (not that i am Welsh), but there flower is the Daffodil, so i thought it would be appropriate to use this adorable old image : Penny Black - 'Daffodil Bear / 472D/ 1996', mounted on : Marianne Designs - 'Circle & Flower / CR1248', surrounded by : Hobby House Pearls - 'Green To Go', the papers are very old : K & Co, the sentiment is : Penny Black Creative Dies - Celebrations / 51-028' (that i managed to get at Xmas from Oyster Stamps, when they had 20% off, the flowers are from : Mulberry Crafts - whose P+P is so reasonable and i would not hesitate to use them again, the leaves are : Cheery Lynn Designs - 'Fanciful Flourish', the ribbon is from stash.
