Christmas Silhouette

Well it's a better morning here in Sussex and i'm hoping my washing will dry today !!! Yesterday was a complete wash out - i took 3 year old to his swimming lesson, whilst OH went to the 'Tip' and little one did not want to show his mummy how good he is at going underwater (like he does when daddy is around), oh well i will just have to go and watch him next week then.

Butterfly Express

Well what a difference a couple of days make!!!, today i'm back in my jeans and anorak !!!, oh well it will save us running up a huge water bill (as we are on a water meter), as we had new lawn laid on Tuesday.

Right on to todays card - 'House Mouse' stamps are another of my favourites, yet this is only the 2nd ever card i have made with 1 and yet i bought 5 of them last year in 'HobbyLobby' in Houston for between $2 and $4 !!!, with the view to have a go - although i have been told the more simpler designs are the easiest to colour in ???

Took Whisper out early this morning to the woods and later on we are going to a park near the river with a picnic - as the beaches near here will be extremely busy !!!

A Rather Handsome Yorkshire Man !!!!

And before you ask NO it is not my OH (and yes he is a yorkshire man !!!), but somebody else - whilst we were on our cruise this rather dishy guy was also on board and so i just had to have dinner in his restaurant 'The Bistro' the night he was in !!!! (besides the photo, i also got his autograph and a box of his gorgeous belgian chocolates) - please excuse my redness only it was hot in the restaurant and i had already had a glass of wine !!! and don't look too closely at the grey hair, tried to colour it before i went away but i was allergic to hair dye !!!

Ok less of the handsome James Martin and on to a card !!! and it's being entered into :

Bear and Flowers

Hi,

Well i arrived back in the country yesterday at 4pm and look at me already uploading a card for a challenge !!! - gee what am i like !!!

We went on a cruise with 'Ocean Village' - taking in Dubrovnik (couldn't do, as 65 knot winds !!), Venice, Korcula (Croatia), Corfru and Katakolon (where the first Olympic Games were held) - we all had such a good time - including 3 year old, who loved the kids club on board.

Mind you whilst i was away - i was on the internet (see can't keep away) - but i won't tell you how much it cost me !!! and i found out that :

1) I had made Top 5 in the Allsorts Challenge for - 'Jingle Bells'
2) I had made Top 3 in the Winter Wonderland Challenge for - 'Jingle Bells'
3) I had won the lovely Helen's Blog Candy

and i was so over the moon and it put the icing on the cake for the holiday.
