In A Nutshell

Another type of card i don't make very often - Baby !!, don't know why as a lot of son's friends parents are all pregnant !!!

The colour combination is a little unusual too - only my lovely friend on Docrafts, Julie, set a challenge to make a babies card, not using blue or pink - but i did think i could send it to a girl or boy though, as it's neutral.

Love Birds / Workshop

I've had a lovely day so far - spent this morning with the lovely Clair / Valentines at one of her workshops and we made a wedding card / engagement (which are always handy and i never know what to make for them !!).

Papers - were hand made we rollered them with a Stampin Up roller - Life is Beautiful

Jingle Bells

Wow what a weekend !!!

Michael Buble - wow what a man and his singing is pretty amazing too !!! - my OH managed to get us seats 6 rows from the front and 4 high on the right hand side of the stage - so i was level with his eyes !!!

We then stayed in a lovely dog friendly hotel (well it was,  until we got the bill and somebody else in the hotel had put a bar and food bill on our room  - the cheek of it, fortunately we weren't charged for it) in the Yorkshire Dales for 2 nights.

Right on to crafting things :

I went and checked out 'The Range' in Worthing on Wednesday (only been open 2 weeks) and came out of there with My Minds Eye - Penny Lane glitter papers for £12.99, which i thought was very reasonable.

On Thursday, i went to 'Craftzone' in Pontefract - where i managed to get a Martha Stewart punch i had been after for a while and some more lovely papers

On Saturday i decided to check out the craft shops in Scarborough - can only comment on 'Craft Inspirations' (full of little nick nacks) as the other one shut at 1.30pm and i got there at 1.40pm !!!

Mouse in a Stocking !!!

Well i'm on a real high today and they say things come in 3's :

1) I have come in the Top 3 at ABC Christmas Challenge for my card 'No Peekin'

2) I'm off to see the lovely Michael Buble tomorrow night

3) Grandma is looking after our 3 year old, so my OH and i can have 2 nights away on our own with Whisper - not been away from him since he was 10 months old and we are both so looking forward to a lie in !!!!

Flipping Football !!!

Hi, The lovely people at Lili Of The Valley have come up with a theme of 'Here Comes Summer' and the first thing that jumped into my head was 'The World Cup' and it messing up my telly schedule (how sad am i !!!).

I colour in with Twinkling H2O's and this is the first time i have coloured in a stamp of a boy, as i usually stick to animals !!!, but i'm pleased with how the skin colour came out and the image so much reminds me of my 3 year old son, who doesn't care what he wears, he just wants to kick a ball around.

Neighbours

Good afternoon from a very dreary and wet Sussex - my ideal Sunday afternoon OH and son watching rugby and me making cards (heaven), after we had all get soaked this morning walking Whisper in the woods !!
