I seem to be the only person who hasn't lost any followers - i guess i shouldn't speak to soon, as it will probably happen now ;-) x

This card is for a very lovely person and the for me, it's a size i don't normally use 6 x 4 inches, the image and sentiment : Stampendous - 'Hoppy Moments Transparent Set', the papers (are very old) : Papermania - 'Spring Burst', the flower brads : Do Crafts, the ribbon : The Ribbon Girls.

Christmas At My Window

I'm so excited i've been asked to be a Guest Designer on the fabby Maureen's Rudolph Days Challenge and she is offering such a fabby prize this month too :

I want to start using some of my stamps, that all i do is avoid, as i'm not sure what to do with them !!, so i had a bit of a play and came up with this, stamp : Penny Black - 'Christmas At My Window / 4360K / 2013', the window seal  and snow at the bottom is : Glamour Dust, the sentiment (came free with a magazine) : Penny Black - 'Wonder Collection Transparent Set / 2014', the brick work (embossing folder) Marianne D - 'DF3403', the trellis : Memory Box - 'Tessatina Border', the holly : Marianne D - 'LR0244', berries : Doodlebug - 'Crushed Velvet / Ladybug Flock', the snow : Stampendous - 'Chunky White Embossing Enamel'.

Thanks for all your lovely comments about Harrison's photo - yesterday he made the front page and page 4 of local newspaper, so Alan and I are now living with a celebrity ;-) x It was so nice this week, when it was icy, as i left the car on the drive and walked Harrison to school over the riverbank, as the ground was so hard - now we are back to a dirty dog and son !!

Gee what a week - Harrison was one of four to be picked from his troop to attend the launch of Cub 100 in West Sussex (Cubs are 100 years old this year) and Harrison been asked to collect 5 group / troop names by his Cub Leader and at the moment i've only got 3, so if anyone has a family member or friend who is a Beaver / Cub / Scout that would like to do a 'Badge Swap', please don't hesitate to contact me, as i so need some help, thank you in advance - the photo is of Harrison and a young lady from Selsey (i've taken the photo off of the West Sussex Scouts Facebook page)

Baby Hammock

Thank you for all of Harrison's Birthday Wishes - he had a lovely meal on Saturday with friends, but on Sunday he was unable to go to Rugby, as the pitch was flooded and still is, and they are not sure when it will be ok again, maybe if it stopped raining that would help ;-)

My lovely friend Beverley and John became Grandparents for the 1st time just after Xmas and this is the card i made for them - the design is taken from 'Quick Cards, Christmas 2015' - Centre Swing Card. The image is : Penny Black - 'Baby Hammock / 2073J / 2001', the papers are leftovers but i think possible the writing one is DCWV ?, the corners are : Whimsy Stamps - 'Corner Die Set', the banner is : Memory Box - 'Simple Banner' the edging is : Martha Stewart Punch - 'Cherish', the ribbon is from: The Ribbon Girls and the pearls are from my stash.

My Favourite Cards Of 2015

I've been meaning to join in the lovely Debby's 5 Favourite Cards of 2015 and i keep forgetting, but they are here now :

'Mighty Wishes' - This first card has bitter sweet memories for me : as I was so excited after receiving the phone call at lunchtime, that i had come 3rd in the Crafts U Love 9th Birhday Card Competition (i had never entered a competition before) and then by the teatime, we were putting down our beloved Whisper

'Bashful Badger' - I so love Badgers and Penny Black only made badger stamps in the begining, which is a real shame

'Shop And Tweet' - I so love shaped cards and I'm grateful to Nicki / Coops for sharing how to make this card - just loved the way the image / papers came together on this one

'Party Pup' - This is a LOTV Xmas image, but i've used it for a boy's birthday card, besides shaped cards, the other thing i love is - Dienamics - 'Fishtail Banners'

'Auto Hog' - This is the first time i entered Di's Snippets Playground and it was one of those cards that took me ages to play with, but once it came together, i loved it, especially as i usually run all my cards pass Alan (my partner) and i couldn't with this one, as it was for him !!

Today is son and heir's Birthday - Harrison is 9 years old and has gone off to Rugby training with Alan and wants Pizza for dinner, yesterday we went for a Thai lunch with friends.
