Gift Of Giving

Hi,

I can't believe it's been a week, since i last posted, but behind the scenes i've been beavering away making DT cards, for when Harrison finishes school in 4 weeks time !!, he has also been off sick this week for 2 days - he threw up first thing Monday morning, but was not allowed back in for 48 hours. New roof on conservatory is looking good, plasterer came in yesterday and Alan will be painting it at the weekend, once that is done i will take some photo's.

I thought it was about time i used the gorgeous : LOTV - 'Snow Princess Papers', the image is : Penny Black - 'Gift Of Giving / 4098K / 2009' and it's been cut with : Die-namics - 'Pierced Rectangles', i've used lots of Glamour Dust for the snow, coat and hat, the trees are covered on the edges with Glamour Dust : Marianne D - 'LR0136', the snowflake edge : Memory Box - 'Frostyville Border', the ribbon is : The Ribbon Girls, the sentiment is : LOTV - 'Christmas Tags', the gem is from my stash.

The Challenges I Would Like To Enter Are :

Sweet Stampin' - where the Challenge is 'Bingo' - I went for : Purple, Die-Cuts and Trees

The Ribbon Girls - where the Colour Challenge is 'Lilac'

Papertake Weekly - where the Challenge is 'Trio-tastic' - i used 3 dies - Tree, Snowflake Border and Stitched Rectangle (the image is on), 3 different papers - 2 for the card and 1 for the paper piecing

Christmas Stampin' All Year Long - where Challenge No: 49 is 'Ribbon or Lace'

Fab N' Funky - where Challenge No: 265 is : 'Christmas'

Scrappy Mo's June's Rudolph Challenge - where you have to enter a Christmas Card between 25th - 30th

Thanks for looking and for any comments you would like to leave, would be most appreciated, Luv Sam x

Life has been exciting and busy at your house, for sure. Hope it has settled down just a bit by now, so that you can enjoy the weekend. This is a darling card - always love PB images. The lavender color scheme is so pretty & icy too, and one I might not have thought of. It works beautifully with the image though. Love the dimension added by the trees, that frosty white snowflake border, and the delightful frilly ribbon. Mimi is really going in style on this one. TFS & happy wkend.
