A Smile For You

Hi,

Why is it the week before any school holiday is just crazy !!, all i seem to be doing this week is going to appointments - massage, hair, RA consultant and a at The Glitter Pot, playing with Sue Wilson dies and i nearly bought one of the sets too !!  Does anybody know any craft shops in Derbyshire please, as i want to annoy the boys next week, when we are up there.

I have wanted this stamp for a very long time, i had this stamp on a transparent set, but i always found it was too small : Penny Black - 'A Smile For You / 1021K', and i've used my new : Die-namics - 'Pierced Rectangles', that i used a voucher i had won in a blog challenge,  the papers are : Doodlebug - 'Petit Prints', the edging is : Die-namics - 'Faux Crochet Border', i thought it was about time i used my : Memory Box - 'Corner Bow', decorated with gems. the flower is : Tim Holtz - 'Tattered Florals' and the ribbon is from : The Ribbon Girl.

The Challenges I Would Like To Enter Are :

Allsorts - where Challenge No: 259 is 'Purple Passion'

The Ribbon Girl - where May's Colour Challenge is 'Lilac / Purple'

Papertake Weekly - where the Challenge is 'Oooo So Cute'

Cutie Pie - where Challenge No: 69 is 'Bring On The Bling, And Cute'

Divas By Design - where the Challenge is 'Anything Goes'

Thanks for looking and for any comments you would like to leave, would be most appreciated, Luv Sam x

This is so sweet Sam, I know what you mean about the cling stamps being a bit small, wooden ones are so much better. Saw your Harrogate comment - not even been to Glasgow for a craft show so I'd be amazed if you got me that far south! Enjoy your weekend, so hope it warms up! Jx

Hi Sam

Yes, the transparent ones are a little small but great for matching gift tags if you have the large and the small version!

Hope you have a good time away and manage to find some craft shops .. .. though I am guessing you will struggle to find one that will hold as much as The Glitter Pot. I would love a visit there but am sure I wouldn't know what to look at first!!!

Hope you are having a good week.

Love Jules xx

Gorgeous card Sam - love the purple tones (my favourite colour) and love your paper-piecing. I find some of the PB clear stamps a bit too small too and have replaced a couple of my favourites with the wood-mount - sooo much easier to colour.
