A Smile For You

Hi,

Why is it the week before any school holiday is just crazy !!, all i seem to be doing this week is going to appointments - massage, hair, RA consultant and a at The Glitter Pot, playing with Sue Wilson dies and i nearly bought one of the sets too !!  Does anybody know any craft shops in Derbyshire please, as i want to annoy the boys next week, when we are up there.

I have wanted this stamp for a very long time, i had this stamp on a transparent set, but i always found it was too small : Penny Black - 'A Smile For You / 1021K', and i've used my new : Die-namics - 'Pierced Rectangles', that i used a voucher i had won in a blog challenge,  the papers are : Doodlebug - 'Petit Prints', the edging is : Die-namics - 'Faux Crochet Border', i thought it was about time i used my : Memory Box - 'Corner Bow', decorated with gems. the flower is : Tim Holtz - 'Tattered Florals' and the ribbon is from : The Ribbon Girl.

Anything !?

Hi,

Well H's Go-Kart Party went really well and instead of presents, he asked for donations to Chestnut Tree House hospice for children (as one of the girls who came to the party,  brother goes there) and he raised £61 and we will top up to £100.

Please excuse me, if i don't get round to you today - only i've broken the connector for the computer - i put it on the bed and it slipped off and broke, have had to order a new one (as laptop is running off of the battery) and hopefully it will be here tomorrow, so sorry :-(.

Cute Fairy

Hi,

Firstly please excuse me, if i'm not around much in the next couple of days, but it's a bit manic here : on Saturday H's Beavers group have got an AGM, games and a hike, in the evening i'm off to see 'Pasha And Katya' (from Stictly), in their latest show with my friend Karen, then on Sunday H is having a Belated Go - Kart Birthday Party (we didn't have in January, as a lot of his school friends were busy).

When i saw the LOTV Challenge this month was 'Fairies' - i went eek, i haven't got one, then, i went through my stamps and  i realised i did, (oooo what a Muppet, am I !!), i've highlighted the wings and star with : Stickles - 'Gold',  the papers are : Basic Grey - 'Two Scoops' and as i had never used the paper with the gold swirls before, i decided to incorporate the rest of the card with some gold pearlescent card,the banner is : Memory Box - 'Simple Banner' the flowers are from : Wild Orchid Crafts, the ribbon and gold pin is from my stash.

I so love the Mo Manning images, but for some reason my Twinkling H20's do not like digis, so i'm over the moon when she decided that Penny Black could have some as stamps and this is one of them : 'Gardener - 40-296' and for a change i have gone for a more CAS design and the paper is : Forever Friends - 'Just For Him', the sentiment is : Inkadinkadoo - 'Happy Everything' the trowels are stickers from 'The Works', the charm and netting is from stash.

Jolly Teapot

Hi,

I'm so glad the weather is supposed to be nice at the weekend, as H does RSPB Explorers on the first Saturday of the month and this month instead of going to Pulborough Brooks, we are going to Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve and it's a family event, including a picnic and on Monday we are going to the Weald And Downland Museum's 'Spring Countryside Show'.

I've used this stamp : Penny Black - 'Jolly Teapot / 1276H' and i've highlighted the roof and smoke with ' Stickles - 'Ice Dust' i have used this stamp before, but it was back in 2010, i decided to use my other new dies : Go Kreate - 'Large Frames - Frilly #9', i got the paper pad for half price and it's papers are ideal for this stamp : First Edition - 'Stocking Fillers', the ribbon is : The Ribbon Girls - 'Candy Stripes' (and i so love it), the charm (actually arrived this morning) and i bought it off of ebay.
