Snow Family

Hi,

Well, it started snowing around 8am on Friday, i took H to school and by 10.30am, we got a text to say could we pick up our children - gee what was the point in sending him in the first place !! we ended up with about 12 cms - since it started snowing we have left the cars on the drive, but lots of people round here seem to think, it's a normal day! H enjoyed sledging this morning down the embankment on the river bank and it has been snowing again here, since 9am !!

I bought this image along with 4 other smaller, no colour PB images from a well known auction site about a year ago, i've used distressing inks to make the sky (by cutting out the snowmen and reindeer and posted note them back on, so they didn't end up blue !!) after lots of playing around with papers and colours yesterday, i thought the only thing that would do it justice was to use no patterned paper - i stamped the blue paper with Inkadinkadoo snowflake and versamark, covered it in Stampendous Stamp n' Stuff Crystal embossing powder and heated, the white paper i've dry embossed with CB embossing folder 'Ice Crystals' and added blue pearls, snowflakes are 2 punches - Woodware and an old Docrafts one.
