And here's what i made :

When i looked in my box of images i came across this one - but i must confess, that half way through making the card i found the stamp in a sale and purchased it :-), the papers are - First Edition 'New Leaf'', the corner die is - Sizzix - 'Architectual Accent #3', now the bow, mmmm i tried to follow the tutorial on the lovely Sue's blog, but mine just looked pants, so i sorted of cheated and bought - Craftwork Cards 'Vintage Chic Paper Bows' (there are 2 size bows) and used 1 of them as a template, the pearls are - 'Habico'

Man's Best Friend

Hi,

I hope all of you with children are surviving the summer hols, at least the weather has been good this year, i've found it, not too bad - H loves any kind of sport, so he has done a couple days a week at Sport Camps, and on Tuesday we set sail from Dover for 12 nights to cruise round The Baltics, where we will be visiting Helsinki, St Petersburg, Tallin (3 places i have never been to), Amsterdam, Berlin and Copenhagen - although while we are away, we are having DIY SOS done on our bathroom - only difference is, we have to pay for it !!!

Today's image is one i fell in love with and it so reminds me of H and Whisper, (when in reality Whisper wouldn't actually sit on a bench, she'll only sit there if Alan or I have picked her up and she is sitting on our lap), image has been distressed with Salty Ocean and the papers are LOTV 'Country Gent', Sentiment - Inkadinkadoo 'Happy Everything', twine, buttons and charm from stash.

Pups With Present

Hi,

After a crazy 4 days in Yorkshire - where Alan and i went to see 'Vincent And Flavia' in 'Midnight Tango, which was absolutely superb, (in fact it transported us back 7 years to Buenos Aires), we took H to Eureka (Children's Museum in Halifax), and Alan took him to see 'Castleford Tigers v Warrington Wolves', did some retail therapy, including a trip to LOTV, where i was fortunate enough to meet up with the lovely Susan and gee what a shop - not only does it sell all the latest LOTV stamps and paper, but also flowers,dies and pens OMG i could have spent far more than i did :-).

Today's image is one of the ones i bought at the LOTV (and it was Alan's choice), the papers are Papermania - 'Home For Christmas', Punched Frame is MS - 'Snowflake', Bone is PB - 'Bon Mot' but with the sentiment removed and instead stamped with PB - 'Crystalline Transparent Set', Snowflakes Sizzix - 'Snowflake Wonder' covered in Stampin Up - Heat And Stick Powder, then Dazzling Diamonds.

I decided to use 'Yearning', as i haven't used this cutie since October 2010 - gee what am i like and i decided my watering can should be an old fashioned metal one and lucky for me i found the ideal papers to go with it too First Edition - 'Dreamcatcher', Sentiment is PB - 'Betsy Bluebell Transparent Set', Flowers are cut using Sizzlits / Tim Holtz - 'Tattered Flower Garland / Decorative Strip', Ribbon and Gems are from my stash.

Starry Ted / Ready Teddy Go

I'm so hoping this schedule post is going to work this time, only i will be in Castleford, West Yorkshire, as Alan and I are going to see Vincent and Flavia tonight in 'Midnight Tango'.
