Sledding Teddies

Hi,

I can't believe i have managed to make a card, even though it's the start of the school holidays - but to be honest we wanted Harrison to have a chill out week (we did go and see the 'BFG' at the cinema and it was really good), as today he joins 3000 other Cubs at Ardingly Showground for 4 days of lots of fun activities to celebrate Cubs 100.

The image is a very old : Penny Black - 'Sledding Teddies / 223J / 1994', the snow on the image is : Stampendous - 'Chunky White Embossing Enamel', the scrap papers are from : DCWV - 'The Winter Matstack', the sentiment is : LOTV, the snowflake banner is : Whiff Of Joy - 'D1346', decorated with : Dovecraft - 'Berry Blush Glitter Dots', that was part of the PB candy i won from Lorraine's, the snowflake with sentiment on it : Marianne Designs - 'LR0125', i've glittered the snowflakes with : Stampin' Up - 'Heat and Stick Powder, then Dazzling Diamonds'.

Hedgy Flavour

Hi,

Gee what a scorcher and we took advantage of the weather on Saturday and had a 'Quintessentially English' day out - we first went to  Lordington Lavender, then had a pub lunch, then we went to a local Church fete, where H played croquet and crazy golf, then it was a cream tea.

Today we are up to mid month at Penny Black And More and the Challenge is 'Anything Goes With A Stamp' and as usual we have some fabby sponsors too :

I made this card about a month ago, when the weather wasn't so good, but it seems perfect for now !!, the image is : Penny Black - 'Hedgy Flavor / 2354F / 2002', the papers are : Dovecraft - 'Back To Basics', the sentiment is : LOTV - 'Sentiment Tags', the corner die is : Joanna Sheen - 'Lace Corners 1', the ribbon and gems are from stash. The card design is a new one for me, but i love how it frames the image.

Woodland Wonder

Hi,

We have been very busy at the moment, last weekend we went to Sparks In The Park in Horsham, where local charities and clubs showcase themselves and Harrison found a Canoeing group and can't wait to go, so tonight he will being having a trial. I thought i would take advantage of Harrison still at school for another 7 days, by having a play.

I'm scheduling today's post, as we are currently cycling (with Clio, she has a dog carrier, that goes on the back of Alan's bike) in the New Forest, as Harrison has an inset day at school tomorrow.
