Snow Buddies

Hi,

It's a horrible rainy day here in Sussex, at least it's the first one we've had since the school hols started. I've been really busy with H - he's done bike rides, sports days, fun days at the leisure centre, swimming, tennis, ten pin bowling we've visited Parham House and Wakehurst Place and Alan has taken him to see the Castleford Tigers in the Semi's and Final of the Challenge Cup.   Alan and I managed to get tickets on Friday night to see 'One Man & 2 Guv'nors' and if you get the chance go, as we haven't haven't laughed so much in ages.

I thought it was about time i made a Christmas Card, and i've used : LOTV - 'Snow Buddies', the papers are : DCWV - 'The Winter Matstack' (from years ago), the snowflake edge around the image is : Memory Box - 'Frostyville Wreath' and it has been glamour dusted, along with the edge of the image, the snowflakes are : Marianne Design - 'LR0125', and along with the sentiment : Cuddly Buddly - 'Christmas Greetings', they have been covered in : Stampin Up - Heat And Stick Powder and Dazzling Diamonds, the ribbon is from : The Ribbon Girls, and the pearls are from my stash.

I've made this card for one of Harrison's friends who is 7 tomorrow and we are off to enjoy a fun day of bowling and play. Today's image is : Penny Black - 'Pink - Toes / 2369J / 2002' and i've paper pieced her ballet dress, the papers are very glittery, but i'm not sure if photo shows that : Best Creation - 'Ballet Princess', the punched edge is : Martha Stewart - 'Cherish', the circle is made up of 3 corners and put together : Memory Box - 'Crochet Corner', the ribbon is from : The Ribbon Girls and the gems are from : Mei Flower.

Star-Inspired

Hi,

Gee have i really been back over a week from our A-M-AZING holiday - the ship was super (and not too big), crew so helpful and friendly - the pastry chef made me the most devine dairy free desserts, the ports were great, although weather was not brilliant until we got to Bergen, but we didn't really care as we were having such a great time - so much so that we have booked another cruise for next year :-).

I have a few flower stamps and i seem to avoid them in favour of my cute animals !, so thought i would change that and use : Penny Black - 'Star-Inspired / 4156K', decorated with pearls : Hobby House - 'Liking Lilac', have made the shape using : Tonic - 'Layered Circles' the papers are : LOTV - 'Promises' (and if you have noticed my favourite), ribbon is from : The Ribbon Girls, the sentiment is : Woodware - 'Tiny Phrases' and the frame for the sentiment is : Cheery Lynn Designs - 'Horizon Fishtail Banners', that i first saw on the lovely Sarah's blog - although buying them was a feat in itself !! - i was doing a Kay Carley class at The Glitter Pot on Saturday, with my crafty friend Louise, saw the dies and thought i'm sure they are the ones i want, so texted the lovely Janice who confirmed they were the ones, thanks hun.

I know we are a day early, but several of the DT are currently on holiday - including me, today i'm visiting 'Bergen in Norway' (as we are on a cruise),  and we will be back in the country on Monday.

Before i went away we have very hot temperatures, and this is when i was making this card !!, the image is : Penny Black - 'Chef Bear - B - Q / 1110K / 1998', and it was cut using : Die-namics - 'Pierced Rectangles', the papers are : Best Creation - 'Barbecque and 4 out of 20 of them glitter', the banner is : Memory Box - 'Simple Banner' and the buttons i got from ebay (although i nearly didn't, as the seller was messing around).
