It's My Party

Hi,

Well i'm pleased to report Harrison seems happy with his new teacher and they have also transferred all of year 2 from his class (bar 3 girls) into his new class, so he is over the moon, as he is with lots of his friends. This is my last card for a couple of weeks, as H breaks up on Wednesday and we go on a cruise to Iceland and Norway on Thursday and i'm so looking forward to it, as the temperature drops by at least 8 degress, yipee, more manageable for sightseeing.

I decided on this image for my best mate (in Oz's daughter), who will be 19, as she was a little trying, whilst growing up, - she's got her act together now and is working on a cattle ranch in Queensland and H keeps asking when we are going out to see her !!.  The image is : LOTV - 'It's My Party', the papers are LOTV - 'Promises', the sentiment is : LOTV - 'Circular Greetings', the ribbon is : The Ribbon Girls, the sparkles are from : The Works (20 for 99p, in 2 shades of purple), the buttons are from my stash.

Well as it warms up to be the hottest week so far, i'm uploading this while it's still coolish !! and before i over heat. We find out today who H's new teacher is and who is going to be in his class, i so hope it's with at least one of his friends ( with H's school they have 3 classes for years 1 & 2, etc, so they get mixed up every year).

When i saw today's image, i just simply fell in love with it : Penny Black - 'Penguin Pals / 1535H / 1999' and i've embossed round the image with : Penny Black - 'Christmas Treasures / 30-019' in crystal embossing powder, the papers are : Echo Park - 'Tis The Season' and for the 2 strips i've cut them, with my very useful: Die-Namics - 'Fishtail Flags Stax, the buttons and twine are from my stash.

Good Game .....

Hi,

At the moment i feel as if H my 7 year old is a part time pupil - he had a day off 2 weeks ago as he cut his head, was off last Friday for an inset day and we went to Legoland and is off Thursday as the teachers are on strike - could so do with him being at school at the moment, as we go on hols the day after they break up !!

I've adapted this image, as they are playing badminton, but after enjoying Wimbledon this year, i thought i would use it : Penny Black - 'Good Game ....' / 3957K/ 2009', stamped on to : Die Namics - 'Pierced Rectangles', the papers are : My Mind's Eye - 'Fly A Kite' (for the cloud paper) and 'Life Of The Party' (for the flowers and flowery paper), the flower punch is : Fiskars, the gems in the middle of the flowers is: MeiFlower, the grass is : Memory Box - 'Grassland Border', the tennis ball brad is from my stash and the ribbon is : The Ribbon Girls, the cloud die is : Whimsy Stamps, the sentiment is : Papermania - Clare Curd Signature Range
