Tongue-Tied

Hi,

Well i had a lovely weekend - Friday night i went with my friend Celia to see the lovely Pierce Brosnan in 'The Love Punch' and it was a great movie, on Saturday night Alan and i drove to Guildford to see 'Alan Davies', he was brilliant, but on the way there 2 trucks carrying 9 cars each pulled out of Dunsfold Park (where they film 'Top Gear') with every supercar imaginable on them including : Ferrari's, Aston Martins, Lamboughinis, McLarens latest sports car - Alan reckoned that each row of 3 were worth over 1 million alone !!

Today's card is for one of my lovely blogging friends who announced her engagement at Easter and i thought i would use this sweetie of an image : PB - 'Tongue - Tied / 2287K' and i was fortunate enough to win a blog challenge last month and the prize was 3 packs of fabby shaped cards from Which Craft and this one is 'Elegant Step Card' - so you can look forward to 2 other designs too, the paper is : Doodlebug - 'Love Letters', the heart die at the bottom is : MB - 'Cherish Border', and i've used the : La La Land Craft Die - 'Heart Banner' for the bit inside and decorated it with white pearl hearts from stash, the sentiment is : LOTV - 'Sentiment Tags'.

Hedge & Ducklings

Hi,

I hope you all had a good Easter ?, Sunday was quiet, as it chucked it down with rain for most of the day - so the boys ate their Chocolate Eggs, as i have a Cow's Milk Allergy - i managed to find myself a Mallow Bunny in Asda, that is yummy. We did go out Good Friday to Arlington (near Eastbourne) Bluebell Walk, WOW  the bluebells were stunning and on Saturday we went to Leeds Castle, where Harrison did a Nature Trail, had his photo  taken with a knight in shinning armour and saw a puppet show.

Oh dear shame on me, i don't think i've ever used this image : Penny Black - 'Hedge & Ducklings - 2870K', the papers are : First Edition - 'Hideaway', punched edge is : MS - 'Lace Doily', the corner die is : MB - 'Pierson Corner', decorated with pearls from my stash, the ribbon is from : 'The Ribbon Girls' and i even found a Youtube video, to show me, how to make a double bow and it was easy, the brads are : Doodlebug - 'Boutique Brads / Bumblebee Assortment'.

Today's stamp is from 1996 and it's 'Bouquet Bear - 470D' and i'm sorry it's almost a copy of a card i did a couple of weeks ago (but i so loved the sketch and i also thought it was about time i used this cutie too), but with the Harrison on school hols, it's been difficult trying to find time for me to craft!!, the papers are : LOTV - 'Promises', the flower ribbon is from a very very old Anita's sticky ribbons pack, the plain ribbon is from : 'The Ribbon Girls', and i got the hollow flower pearls from ebay.

All Wrapped Up

Sorry have been missing for a couple of days !!, been to Yorkshire, to continue the Birthday celebrations :-), Alan and i went to see Vincent and Flavia in 'Dance Till Dawn' - we had a box, gee i felt like royalty, we also had a quick visit to the LOTV shop, where i bought a couple of items that i really needed !!, we took H to 'Stockeld Park', where he rode on a Segway with Alan and the boys went to the Castleford v St Helens Rugby League game and of course some retail therapy at 'Xscape / Junction 32' !!

Today's stamp is one i already had, LOTV - 'All Wrapped Up', and the pom pom is covered in : Stickles - 'Star Dust',  the papers and white card are all pearlescent, but not sure if photo really shows that ? : Craft House - 'Winter Wonderland', the snowflake circle is : Memory Box - 'Frostyville Wreath' decorated with pink gems from : MeiFlower, the fabby stripey ribbon is from: The Ribbon Girls and the charm is from my stash.

Thanks for the wonderful birthday wishes you all sent me and especially thank you to Brenda, Tracy Mouse, Janice, Susan, Tilly/ Christine, Ann and Wendy - who so kindly sent me cards.  Gary Barlow was brilliant, don't know why the critics only gave it 4/5 - i would have given it 10/5 !!, I took my friend Celia (as she had H overnight), her children and H to lunch on Monday at ASK, then on to 'The Muppet Movie', to say thank you.
