Hi,

Well we had a fabby time at 'Leeds Castle' H and his friends did brass rubbing, played on the adventure playground and then when they were inside the Castle there were child friendly information sheets and I-Spy sheets too - we spent 6 hours there and still didn't see all of it.  Alan is feeling better, he's been told he has an infection and a slight tear on his spleen (the doctors think from the car accident he had).

Congratulations Captain Scott Coakley - Scott is my friends Mel and Geoff's son, who live in Australia and we found out a couple of weeks ago - Scott had been made a Captain by Virgin Blue Airlines, and we are all so proud of him - hence a card with a plane on it !!.  The papers are Echo Park - 'Little Boy', sentiment - 'LOTV', distressed with Tim Holtz - 'Faded Jeans'.

Hi,

I'm having to post this now, as i've been unable to get on to the computer during the day, as Alan has been off sick / working from home for the last 4 days - his Diverticulitis has kicked off, he's feeling better than he did, but not 100% yet, so tomorrow H's best friends family and I are going to 'Leeds Castle' for the day, as H is doing 'Castles' at school this term and it's also supposed to be the last good weekend of the year.

Today's card is using an image i got free with a magazine, and as i so loved the sketch at Bearly Mine, so i decided to dig out some of my old Basic Grey papers, this one is - 'Sultry', Flowers are 'WOC', Lace is 'The Ribbon Girls', the leaves are - Cherry Lynn Designs, 'Fanciful Flourish'

For my card this time i decided to make a Love / Anniversary card, using -  PB 'Cupful Of Love' and using some very old - My Mind's Eye 'Be Loved' papers (that to me have autumnal colours in them), Sentiment Tags are - 'LOTV', small hearts (have been covered in glossy accents) and large hanging heart are - MB 'Precious Hearts', punched edge - MS 'Valentine Lace', Ribbon is from my stash.

Hi,

Firstly we had a fabby hols and if you scroll down, i've included a couple of piccys too. OMG have i really been back in the UK for 2 weeks and this is the 1st card i'm posting - gee where does the time go - H has settled nicely into his new school and skips and smiles as he goes in every morning - yipee, it's such a weight off our shoulders.

And here's what i made :

When i looked in my box of images i came across this one - but i must confess, that half way through making the card i found the stamp in a sale and purchased it :-), the papers are - First Edition 'New Leaf'', the corner die is - Sizzix - 'Architectual Accent #3', now the bow, mmmm i tried to follow the tutorial on the lovely Sue's blog, but mine just looked pants, so i sorted of cheated and bought - Craftwork Cards 'Vintage Chic Paper Bows' (there are 2 size bows) and used 1 of them as a template, the pearls are - 'Habico'
