Bunny Bouquet

Hi,

Well it's nice and sunny here today - thank goodness, as i'm busy washing clothes, because my basket seems to be a full, after a couple of days of not being able to wash, that and the fact we are going to Berlin on Thursday for 4 days. as H has an inset weekend - he has Friday and Monday as inset days, but we have added Thursday to it, as apparently Berlin is really busy at weekends.

I liked the idea of a Pink And Green Colour Combination over at Charisma Cardz, and whilst i was shopping on Saturday i came across the latest 'Quick Cards' magazine and fell in love with the free 'Elizabeth Bell' images, and just by chance they were also give away some free papers by Jennifer Ellory 'Floral Papers', which were pinks with blues and greens - the swirly leaves are Cherry Lynn - 'Fanciful Flourish, that i was lucky enough to be sent by the very lovely Debs , when i won her surprise birthday candy, (thank you so much hun), Sentiment - LOTV - 'Tags', the punched flowers were cut using 'EK Success'.

Zooming Along

Hi,

Well i had a lovely Saturday afternoon at The Glitter Pot, where i met up with my lovely friend Louise and we did a class using the Tim Holtz on the edge sewing die, in devine colours.  On Sunday we went to Dunsfold Park (where they film Top Gear / where a charity event was on) for Alan's Father's Day present, where he was lucky enough to be a passenger in the latest McLaren MP4 - 12C and apparently at one point they hit 170mph - eeek, thank goodness i wasn't the passenger !!!

As there are quite a few Men related themes around i thought it was about time i coloured this sweetie and practice colouring teddy bears :-),  the papers are ages old from 'Creating Keepsake', sentiment are LOTV - 'Tags', buttons from 'Papermania', punched edge 'Stampin Up scallop punch'.  - OMG i must also be in a blue and brown phase at the moment - note to self different colour combo for next card !!!

Snow Fun

Well i don't know about Flamin' June, it should be known as Monsoon June !!

Thank you for all your kind comments about me my new DT post, some of them really choked me up.

Well i should really be doing other cards (like Father's Day and a childs card too), but i was getting a bit Christmas Card withdraw symptoms, so i had a route around and came up with this sweetie, and i teamed it up with my favourite paper pad Bo Bunny - 'Snowfall Collection', and you know when you have one of those ideas about using something and after a Love (I love the die) / Hate - in the fact it doesn't like me, as it took 5 attempts (even used baking parchment) and nearly breaking my Big Shot to cut the MB - 'Frostyville Wreath die to decide i will think twice about using the damn thing again !!, i used the MB - 'Snowflake Corner', the middle row of snowflakes is MS - 'Deep Edge Snowflake Punch', decorated with blue pearls from my stash, the sentiment is PB Transparent Set - 'Let It Snow', snow was created using 'Aleen's True Snow' and the glitter is Stickles - 'Turquoise'.

Brave Captain & Some Good News

Hi,

Ok, i'm officially shattered after a very busy 4 days - on Thursday night Alan and i went to see 'The Three Phantoms' and it was brilliant, if you get a chance to see them do, Friday H had an inset day, so we went to Legoland, as H wanted to drive the 'Big Boy's Cars', Saturday was a garden party in the village in aid of a local hospice, and Sunday was bathroom shopping, as we are having a new bathroom fitted, whilst we are away, later on in the year.

Right now the Good News - I was e-mailed by Ready Teddy Go asked if i would like to join their fabby design team and i said 'Yes', so check it out from the 1st July, as this is when i go live - in the meantime if you want a giggle, the lovely Julie Ann has done a posting about the new DT members and there is a photo of me with Whisper ( i must confess, after the picture was taken, my camera stopped working :-)), for all those to check out, that have never met me.

For some reason i got it into my head i wanted to make a Pirate's card, so i found this little sweetie by 'Nellie Snellen' and teamed it up with some papers i won, but have never used, probably because i thought they were too Halloween - 'Phantom' by Pink Paislee, ribbon is from 'Crafty Ribbons' that i've been dying to use, buttons - 'The Ribbon Girls', Sentiment - 'All Year Round' by Paula Pascal.

The Engineer

Well we had a fabby time in the Isle Of Wight - it rained all day on Tuesday, and a bit a couple of other days, but didn't stop us doing anything - in fact the day it rained we went to Ryde and Alan found the Chocolate shop, so he was in heaven !!, we had forgotten how fabby the IOW is and we would all love to go back - Whisper (who is 14 years old) even had a holiday romance with a 3 year old collie called Socks !!

As there quite a few Father's Day challenges around, so i thought i would take advantage and use my new PB slapstick stamp (it's a Mo Manning design, and she has allowed PB to use them as a stamp), i've combined it with Basic Grey papers - 'Oliver', a punch that i bought and have never used !! MS - 'Picket Fence', Buttons, Twine and Brads were all from my stash.

Penny Black At Allsorts - Guest Designer

Hi,

I was picked and asked to be Guest Designer for June over at Penny Black At Allsorts and i thought about it for 1 mini second and said YES - since then i have been singing The Pointer Sisters record - 'I'm So Excited'.
