Long - Stem Cuties

Hi,
Well it was another rush to the vets for poor Whisper this morning - this time she has been nibbling her bottom and when OH looked at it, it was red and inflamed, then this morning she wasn't eating her food and her ears and face were hot - she had blocked glands, so once the vet had cleared her out and gave her some anti-biotics she is well on the road to recovery, yipee.
This is my lasting posting for a while, as i'm having some internet issues, hopefully they will be fixed soon.

The image i've used today is one i've had for about a year and have never been brave enough before today to colour it in - probably because i use Twinkling H20's and not something like pro-markers, where you can blend easier.

Holiday Hugs

Hi,
Well we can't complain about the weather - how glorious has it been, although i'm not sure if it's the best weather to sand down and paint a kitchen !!, all equipment is now in and working, yipee. We are taking son out today to make an easter bonnet and have some fun with his friend Chloe.

I was fortunately sent this image, by a fellow blogger ages ago and as i loved the ABC Christmas Challenge H for Hotspot so much i decided to make another card and add some embossing to it too.

Easter Chicks

Hi,

Well we can't fault the weather at the moment and would you believe it, i have a cold !!  - i'm taking son off to make some Easter Activities with some of his friends. 

Todays Card is 'Easter' related - i don't have any wooden PB Easter stamps, so for i have used a couple of stamps from the transparent set 'Garden Friends' and mixed with some fabby Doodlebug paper, that i bought yesterday from 'The Glitter Pot' (went shopping whilst son was at Mini Sports Time, well i couldn't go swimming as the pool was shut for lessons, so i had to resort to a very expensive Plan B !!!)

Wishes For Kisses

Hi,

Well all the units are in and i have a working sink and washing machine - but the oven is not being connected until Tuesday as the original ones glass blew and a new one had to be delivered, the tiler is coming tomorrow, so by mid week i will be able to cook something - yipee, although like today it's been fabby not having to cook and just get on with making a card !!!

As i'm behind on my Christmas card making this year and as ABC Christmas were running a fabby challenge idea and tutorial, i just couldn't resist it and i so loved the idea i'm definetly going to use it again, as for starters it saved me doing a lot of colouring in and sometimes as i use Twinkling H2O's it does take a littel time.

Sun - Kissed

Hi,

Well i have half a kitchen - all the units and washing machine, oven, sink will all be in and working by Thursday night, then next Monday the tiler is coming in to do the wall and floor tiles and then i will post some photos to show you what it looks like - in the meantime it's microwave meals and eating out !!!

Shopping at 'Gunwharf Quay' was very successful and i forgot that the last time i went shopping with my friend Jane to a 'Hobbs' i managed to spend £300 (but that was 7 years ago), she persuaded me to buy a gorgeous linen dress in black, cream, purple and brown and i must admit it does look rather nice on, this time the cost was only £59, thank goodness.

Todays card is all about 'Flowers and Yellow' - the stamp i've used i must confess i've only used once before !! i couldn't find a sketch, i liked, so i thought i would go with a different fold card instead. I've also used my new punch, the one i have been promising myself for a long time 'Cherish' and it's gorgeous - i might have to add another photo as the true colours of the image, the distressing and the stitching has not come out.

Christmas Fairy

Hi,
I had a lovely day yesterday OH took me to 'Giraffe' for lunch with 4 year old son - although son could have been a little better behaved, but i think Mummy got the backlash from a little boy who went to a farm on Tuesday with his nursery friends and was very excited and tired !!!!
I would like to thank the following people for the gorgeous cards they sent me:

I know 3 cards in 3 days that is pretty amazing for me, but as we are packing our kitchen up on Saturday - as a new one is being installed next week and i'm shopping on Sunday at 'Gunwharf Quay' i don't know how much time i'll be able to grab over the weekend to make a card.

As ABC Christmas Challenge had the colour scheme 'Pink, Silver and Purple' and i do love entering their challenges, todays card is based around it and i found a cutie of a stamp that is so suitable for a couple of other challenges too, as they are 'Fairy / wings based'.

Feeding Frenzy

Hi,

HAPPY  BIRTHDAY TO ME - i would just like to say a big thank you to all my lovely crafty buddies for all my cards and pressies.  OH is taking myself and son out for lunch and then on Sunday i'm going to do some serious damage (well hopefully anyway !!!) to my credit card at 'Gunwharf Quay' in Portsmouth with my friend Jane - i did also order yesterday as a birthday pressie to myself a MS punch and some new Nesties !!!

I must confess todays image is from my lovely friend Janice - but I think it must be the only dog PB i haven't got !!!, it's taken me a while to use it as i was waiting for the right challenge and when i saw Penny Black At Allsorts - were doing 'Black, White and One Other Colour', it gave me a good excuse to use it.

Frolic

Hi,

I hope you all had a great 'Mother's Day', for those that are Mum's - mine was a bit weird as it was also my OH's birthday that day !! - as for presents OH doesn't buy me anything from son, as one year he bought me plastic toot, that i told him don't waste your money in future, - but i did think son's nursery would get son to make something - even a card, but NO, i got absolutely nothing from his nursery, and to say i was really upset, is an understatement - the nurseries response is we can't make him do anything, he doesn't want to do !!

Anyway moan over and on to todays Card - i must confess this is not one of my stamps, but an image that my very good friend Ann sent me, thanks hun - i've turned it into an easel card, and as there are still a couple of Mothers Day challenges around i thought i would combine it, as the card will come in useful for next January, when i post my 10 cards off to SOS for them to send to our troops in Afghanistan.
