Ok, tonights posting is going to be short and sweet as i have 30 mins to add my card to a challenge !!! - talk about cutting it fine !!!!

I've noticed that there are alot of Christmas in July challenges around, so i thought it would be rude of me not to enter a couple of them !!!, so i'm sorry, but it's another Christmas card - oh well i do seem to be getting quite a pile now though.

Cat In Xmas Tree

Well i'm back and firstly i would like to say a huge Thank You to all the lovely people who kindly left me comments on my cards - i was so shocked when i was finally able to log on, on the ship to find i had 27 comments.

We've been on a cruise with 'Ocean Village' again (went with them in May) and we enjoyed it so much last time, we thought we would treat ourselves to another one, as they finish in 13 weeks times (which is a real shame, as it's ideal for us with a 3 year old) - anyway this time we went to - Naples (where we went to 'Pompei), Florence (somewhere i have always wanted to go to and it didn't disappoint), Villefranche (from where you could go to Monaco, but we didn't as we had been there 5 years ago for The Grand Prix) and Corsica.

Right onto the card before i have to go and pick little one up from nursery !!! and the challenges i'm entering are :

Valentine Heart

Right, this is going to be a quick post before OH comes home and tells me i should be packing instead !!! Had a bit of a nightmare with this card, as i couldn't complete till today, as i had run out of pearl hearts - due to the fact,  i put the first image through the Big Shot and it crushed them !!!!

The image is so sweet and was sent to me by the lovely Sarah thanks hun - i haven't managed to meet Sarah yet, but am hoping to in September in Warrington, when i visit those Crafty Devils !!!

Another 2 Christmas Cards

Hi, Well i'm so glad last week is over with - what a nightmare !!!

1) I've been called up to do Jury Service - can't get out of it, as it was deferred 4 years ago, when i was pregnant !!, but instead of spending some time with my 3 year old, he has got to spend 2 weeks of the summer hols in nursery !!

2) There was an outbreak of Kennel Cough at the kennels Whisper is going into this afternoon - so we had to rush her over to the vets and pay £38 for the vaccine - she may still get it, but the vaccine does stop some of it and she is 12, so all helps.

3) Took son to hairdressers and he's picked up nits from his nursery !!, oh joy, so we all had to be done with 'Headdrin' and fortunately it's sorted it out.

Lazy Summer Days

Hello,

Well yesterday i went with my son and his friend Chloe (from nursery) and her mum to Fishers Farm (never been before) and a good day was had by all - even though i lost my stomach a couple of times going down a helter skelter slide and a fake ski slope on a rubber ring with son on lap !!!!

I have a confession - i forgot to say last week i had done some retail therapy - craft shopping of course !!!

1) Went to The Range on Friday and treated myself to DCWV - Linen Closet Stack (12 x 12), i was thinking of going for the 8x8 but it was only £5 cheaper ??? and a 6x6 pack of Dovecraft - Back To Basics

2) Some online shopping at Angel Crafts (i have never used them before, but i was impressed with them)where i bought Pink Paislee papers ( had never heard of them, until i won the lovely Helen's  blog candy and i now i just love them), Kaisercraft,  Fancy Pants and My Minds Eye (So Sophie Charming) and it was even better as a lot of the papers that i wanted were reduced.

Right on to todays card - when i first saw the challenge on Simon Says Stamp - to use either gingham or plaid i wanted to enter it - but could i find either, till i had a look in a folder of my 12x12 papers and came up with 1 sheet that was made up of 4 squares with gingham ribbon running through the middle of it with button on - ideal, hence now the challenges i'm entering are :

4 Christmas Ducks !!

Well today was much quieter than yesterday (thank goodness) - I did the ironing whilst watching '17 Again' starring Zac Efron and Matthew Perry (i had recorded off Sky Movies) and made a card.

When i read that ABC Christmas  Challenge this week was 'NOEL' - i knew exactly which image i was going to use, this cute little Penny Black, and it also reminds me to put it on my list of stamps to buy, as i have seen a couple of people turning 'Noel' into 'Love', by masking off 1 side of the N.
